Don’t Leave Without the Power: Pray For Pentecost!

Don’t Leave Without the Power: Pray For Pentecost!
Acts 1:1-8

God is offering us an amazing opportunity to live with real explosive Holy Ghost power. Enough of living on your own power! We’re done with churches running on people-power! God has promised His Power to flow in us and through us to transform this world. Hey, let’s not leave the Resurrection Celebration without the Power. We’ve got to keep pressing our way and stay faithful in prayer. What we need is a revival!

We all know we need a Revival, right? It is good to look back at our history as people of God to celebrate the Azusa Street Revival and other great moves of God, but God is calling us to pray for a Right Now Revival!

• We need laying on of hands power RIGHT NOW!
• We need miracle working power RIGHT NOW!
• We need to see signs and wonders RIGHT NOW!
• We need the power to love RIGHT NOW!
• We need the power to forgive RIGHT NOW!
• We need the power to maintain healthy relationships RIGHT NOW!
• We need…
• We need…
• We need…
No matter what we need, GOD HAS THE POWER!

There are too many struggling churches and too many struggling Christians barely surviving with no power, no joy and no peace. WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! There is nothing we cannot do when we pray according to God’s will and God’s Word. So, I invite you to Pray for Pentecost.

We are praying together 3 times a day: morning, noon and night. In addition to our regular prayer concerns, we must lift up concerns for the part of the Body of Christ of which we are members. Use this prayer strategy and we will experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit like never before.

Now, you already know that PRAYER and FASTING go together so chose a day to fast each week until Pentecost. Pray and make a decision about the type of fast you will do, but make sure you feel it.

Remember, God’s Holy Spirit will guide and pray for you as you pray (Romans 8:26-27). This tool is only to prime the pump.

Morning Prayer

Begin with Praise, Adoration and Thanksgiving (Psalms 34, 92, 96)

Pray that our Church is filled with Love (1 Corinthians 13; John 15; 1 John 4:7-12) and Unity (Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:1-3; Romans 12:10)
Pray that each member of our church knows the Word of God and speaks the Word with boldness (Acts 4:29-32; 2 Timothy 1:7)

Pray that your Pastor preaches with boldness (Ephesians 6:19-20) and that he carries out his ministry fully (2 Timothy 4:5)

Pray for those in Need of Healing (Isaiah 53:5; Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 40:29)

Pray for God to direct us in our transition to 5511 Edmonson Pike and to provide all resources needed to accomplish His will (Proverbs 3:5-6; Hebrews 10:23).

When you have prayed, TRUST GOD (Philippians 4:6-7 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. See also:
